We hope that all of customers, along with your families and friends, are staying safe during this devastating flood. Our hearts are with everyone affected by this tragedy.
We want to provide an update on our water intake barge on Lake Travis. The barge has not broken off or floated down the lake. Fortunately, it remains safely secured, continues to pump water to our plant, and is withstanding the flood conditions. Today we inspected it from the shore line to confirm it is secure and functioning.
We are hopeful that the worst of the flooding is behind us and have scheduled our contractor to inspect the barge as soon as possible to assess any potential damage and ensure it remains safely secured.
