Please be aware that some WOWSC water and sewer lines may not be located entirely within recorded easements, and in some cases, property owners have replatted lots over existing utility lines. To avoid costly damage and service disruptions, no construction or major digging should begin until WOWSC has inspected the site. This includes projects such as major landscaping projects, adding decks, patios, home additions, pools, and other significant excavation work. A site inspection ensures that you are not building over or damaging critical utility infrastructure and helps protect both you and the utility from unnecessary expenses.
